Art Center College of Design
I received my BFA degree in Illustration and discovered the world of Fine Arts at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. I was fortunate to study under great instructors like David Mocarski, Phillip Hays, Mark Strickland and Janice Lowry. My art influences come from Camille Corot and French Impressionism, German Expressionism specifically the Bauhaus Movement, and modern painting techniques in photo realism, especially Chuck Close and Ralph Goings. The rigorous training and art foundation at Art Center enabled me to build a strong editorial portfolio to pursue a successful career in commercial art.
