Artist Bio
Akio Matsuyoshi
I am a professional painter, born and raised in Hawaii. Pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming an artist, I attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Upon graduation, I moved immediately to New York to expand my artistic value, as a freelance illustrator.
During my entire art career, I have relied on my core understanding of art, and remained open-minded to have other artists inspire me to continue painting and drawing. I believe that what all artists have in common, are the differences in the way we view the process of creating art.
All of my original artworks are created by hand, without the use of computers.
